HYPERSTRIKE BATTLE
Goal:
Two teams battle and whichever team gets the highest score wins.
Players:
1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5
How to Play:
Please read complete rules here.
Tips and Variations:
-
Hitting one player gets 1 point; the team with the highest accumulated points wins the game.
-
Players need to re-enter the zone from their spawning spot to start shooting after being hit, so speed is the key.
-
Players are only allowed to pick up arrows in their zone but they can reach out to grab nearby arrows as long as both feet are still in the zone.
CAPTURE THE FLAG
Goal:
Capture the opposing team’s flag and transport it to your home base.
How to Play:
Divide players into two teams. Split the play area into two equal sections to serve as each team’s home base. Player must enter the enemy’s home base to retrieve the enemy flag. If a player while in the enemy’s home base, they must return to their home base and count to 10 before re-entering the battle. If a player is hit while holding the flag, the flag must be returned.
Tips and Variations:
-
Playing in an open area is fun, but it’s more exciting when there are obstacles to hide behind
-
Give each player roles such as flag defender and scout
-
You can use box or trash can lids as shields to defend yourself from enemy barrages
DEATH MATCH
Goal:
Eliminate all players on the opposing team.
How to Play:
Divide players into teams of at least two people. Players begin the battle on opposite ends of the play area. Once a player is hit, that player is eliminated from the game. The game is over when only 1 team remains.
Tips and Variations:
-
Play with more than two teams when there are many players
-
Try playing with multiple lives (for example, it will take 3 hits for a player to be eliminated)
-
It’s best to play when there are obstacles
DODGE BALL
Goal:
Eliminate all players on the opposing team.
How to Play:
Divide players into two teams. Split the play area into two equal sections to serve as each team’s home base. Place all the arrows on the line dividing the two home bases. At the start of the game, players must run to the middle and retrieve arrows to fire. While, staying in their own home base, players must try to shoot enemy players. When a player is hit, they are eliminated and sent to the jail beside their home base. If a player catches an arrow, the shooter is sent to jail and one player from the catcher’s team is freed from jail and returned to the game. The game ends when all of one team’s players are in jail.
Tips and Variations:
-
Try playing with multiple lives (for example, it will take 3 hits for a player to be eliminated)
-
Each player begins the game in possession of an arrow
-
An arrow catch releases all of your team’s players from jail
